This place is unpretentious and has great service and food at great prices. The pitcher of sangria is a good deal too!

This place is tucked away in a strip mall and we would've never have found it if it wasn't for my handy dandy Yelp app. The chips and salsa were excellent. They brought out one huge bowl of salsa, but because there were four of us, we asked the server for a few extra bowls. He said that the manager would make him charge us if he brought them out right away but would bring more once the meals arrived. Strange, but he still got a nice tip. I ordered the vegetable fajitas which weren't on the menu, for around $10 and they were a bit more cooked then I prefer but were still good. The manager was a bit awkward running around all over the place like he had anxiety issues. I should mention that we were the only people in the restaurant around lunch time. Which made it a bit more awkward. But nothing to complain about.

Slow service. Asked for corn tortillas and got flour. Chips tasted like they were cooked in old oil. Unsweet tea tasted like instant. Food was ok at best. Won't be going back.

Amazing Mexican cuisine. Service was top notch and the food was delicious. The homemade salsa was a great compliment to the chips. Really affordable and great option for some good Mexican.

This is our first choice for Mexican with a possible tie. It's convenient, well priced, and rarely crowded. Quality is top notch and not so much prefrozen and microwaved. It's rather authentic to northwest Mexico with some ingredient substitution and they'll modify whatever however you'd like.

Deserves a 0/5 Service: 1/5 Poor. Water was never refreshed, not even once. Waiter never came out so it's hard to even say 1/5 Food: 0/5 Very poor. Tasted old, had no flavor, came with no filling, smallest "burrito" I've ever had. Unbelievable South Carolina gets treated to "this" as Mexican! Value: 0/5 Waste of your money. Price is wayyy to $$ for the amount and flavor of the food. I'm disbelief they can charge so much for so little Yes, I am from LA and my standards maybe higher than average, but come on! This is a poor excuse for Mexican no mater where you are from!

Horrible. Didn't have service for the first 10 minutes. Didn't bring a drink until asked for the third time. Not to mention the food, over priced for an awful excuse for Mexican food. The atmosphere was poor as well. Would not recommend.

This is our "go to" Mexican restaurant when we are in town. The food is good and plentiful. Prices are reasonable and there is often a drink special worth getting. I am a vegetarian and there are lots of options for me to choose from. The first time we discovered the place was on cinco de mayo. We took home free t shirts and that made it a memorable moment also. We have been there a total of 4-5 times since our first visit in May 13 and we have always had friendly servers and great tasting food. Excellent!

First things first, we are from Ohio, and have acquired a certain taste to the style of Mexican food that Central Ohio has to offer. We have been looking for something very similar to what we grew to love and up until tonight, we have been sadly disappointed with the selection in the Myrtle Beach area. Tonight was the one that we said "Hey, this is pretty good, almost like home". We live right around the corner and are kicking ourselves because we've read a lot of reviews that said it wasn't good. It smells amazing every time we've been to the grocery store, or stopped into pick up a pizza which is next door. The chips were warm and think like we've experienced in most every Mexican restaurant, I like the thin and crispy cantina chips the best, but these were good. My wife and son enjoyed the salsa, and they said it hit the spot they have been trying to fill for awhile. The menu is a little limited, but that's not bad. It's obvious there are different preferences from Ohio as I have been looking for the big quesadilla's like the "Qeusadilla Mexicana" from my favorite place in Ohio, but it's more burrito's and chimichanga's around here. My wife and son ordered appetizer quesadilla's for their meal, and I had the chicken chimichanga, which came with rice or beans. When the food came, I wish I had gotten the appetizer steak quesadilla, because we're used to getting huge 10" tortilla sized quesadilla's and around the Grand Strand area, quesadillas seem to be taco sized, but no here. These were some big quesadillas. My wife's shrimp quesadilla ($7) was huge, and more than enough for a meal. Our son had a cheese quesadilla ($5) and it filled him up. My chimichanga ($11.75) was like two taquitos, rather than a single burrito sized chimi, but it was really good. There was a layer of melted cheese that was literally bubbling on my plate, which mixed in with my rice, and it was just plain good. Overall, we'll be back. It's the best Mexican food we've had since we've moved. The price was about average for everything around. I mean we're in Myrtle Beach, it's going to cost a little more. As also way, I rate it on would I drive any distance to get back here? I would pass up every other Mexican restaurant in Myrtle Beach to get here, but I wouldn't drive even 50 miles for it. If I didn't live here, it would defiantly be on my list as a "Must eat here" when in town.

Authentic Mexican food that is to die for. Everything has so much flavor! The wait staff was quick and kept up on our drinks and our free nachos and salsa. The meals were far too large to finish. The prices were reasonable. Good stuff.

Friendly Manager! Courteous Staff! Food & Drinks are excellent. Try their Lunch Special Chimichangas. For Dinner try their Grilled Shrimp & Steak dish. Seasoned to perfection. Salsa & Chips, a bit watery, but I can't get enough.

Delicious authentic Mexican food. We are tourist and found this restaurant after reading about it on Yelp. We loved the chips, salsa, refried beans (as a dip) and our meals. I got the Lunch Enchilada Supreme and it was big enough to take home leftovers (which were once again delicious). Tucked into the corner of a strip mall. We had to look a little bit to find it, but it was def worth the search.

Great food with very good service. We came here by chance and really enjoyed it. Food was excellent. Get there for happy hour, $2.99 margaritas are very good and large

Very good food! Good size portions. I have only gotten take out. Bought dinner 15 times roughly. Only 1 time they made a mistake with the order. They honored it by giving us one free dinner entree. I recommend going.

Different and a broader menu than your average strip mall Mexican Restaurant. Plates are large and tasty but not as spicy as I normally prefer. Staff was pleasant. Prices a tad higher than usual but again large portions. A good stop on the way out of town.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
